I BELIEVe
There’s something irresistible about a story that can make you laugh one minute and completely wreck you the next. The kind that entertains you first, then somehow sneaks up and becomes about something bigger. Work with heart, humor, a little darkness, and something real underneath it all.
I BELIEVE
The stories that resonate most tend to wrestle with transformation, identity, forgiveness, redemption, and all the strange contradictions of being alive. Theatre can entertain you and still leave a bruise. The best work makes you feel something you weren’t expecting, see something differently, or walk out carrying a question you didn’t have when you walked in.
I BELIEVE
There’s also something really powerful about using storytelling in service of something larger than itself. Work that can shine a light on injustice, create empathy where there wasn’t any before, give voice to people or experiences that are too often ignored, or simply move us a little closer toward understanding one another. Art may not fix the world, but it can absolutely help nudge it in a better direction.
I BELIEVE
Collaboration is a huge part of the joy. There’s nothing better than being in a room with smart, curious, generous people, throwing ideas around, taking risks, and building something together that none of you could have made alone.
I BELIEVE
Whether stepping into a role or creating something from the ground up, the goal is pretty simple: a great story, something real at stake, and a reason for it to exist beyond just being good.
